Package selection
There is a good probability that software already exists that will fit your requirements. In fact, there is a fair chance that there will be several – so which one to choose? There are a number of things to consider –

• Cost – first and foremost
• Compatibility with your hardware
• Scalability – Any software needs to be able to cope with the expansion of your business both in terms of being able to handle the increased data flow and more users actually using the system.
• Support – A software supplier must be able to demonstrate that it is a reputable and credible company which will not suddenly fold and leave you without support
  Integration with your other software - It’s no good if your shiny new Time Recording system doesn’t talk to your Invoicing program.
• Licensing – you must buy the appropriate licenses for your needs. For example, if you have bought a single user license for a piece of software and you then install it on more than one computer, you may be in breach of the license terms which could in theory leave you liable to prosecution.
• Training
• Regular upgrades
  

As a completely independent consultancy, Agio Systems is not tied to selling or reselling any particular suppliers products, which means that we can objectively assess the various offerings on the market and choose the best products for you taking all the above considerations into account. We will always ensure that any software that we recommend is fully demonstrated to you before you buy so that you can be certain that it fits your needs.

Bespoke solutions
If your requirement is so specific that a customised solution is required, then we can bring to bear all the analysis and design experience that we have to ensure that the system that we supply is exactly right for your needs. By its nature, bespoking is an expensive business but we will keep costs to a minimum whilst delivering fully tested, functionally rich software. We will then continue to support any software that we supply and will make enhancements to it as required.

Get the best out of your existing system
Sometimes, significant cost savings can be made by just ensuring that you and your colleagues use the systems that you already have (and have paid for) more efficiently.

We will help you and your people to use systems in the most efficient way - avoiding duplication of effort, confusion, ‘double keying’ (keying the same information in two or more places thereby risking inconsistencies) and making best use of the features which your software provides.

We can look at the software that you already have to see if it will do what you want it to do. For example it's surprising what a properly programmed Microsoft Excel spreadsheet can be used for.

Software installation and integration
Having selected your software we will:

• Install it on your system and perform any configuration or tailoring that may be required.
• Perform any reconfiguration of the new or existing software that may be required to integrate the old and new software to your satisfaction.
• Resolve any installation and integration issues directly with the suppliers.
• Provide basic training and organise more extensive training if required
